If you have reached this stage, and are using Sure Step to manage your Microsoft Dynamics implementations, congratulations! You will find that the Adoption Roadmap does not end, however. Transition your focus to monitoring and continuing to improve your Sure Step adoption.

One year into your Sure Step operations is a perfect time to perform a second health-check on your implementation adoption maturity. How has it improved since you began this journey? How are your customers responding? Are your managers still on board? Continue to drive adoption and look for ways to truly master your Sure Step processes.

Step 1: Re-Assess your Adoption Maturity

Whether you choose to take the online re-assessment or a facilitated workshop, lead your V-team back through the Sure Step Adoption Assessment.

BEST PRACTICE: Compare your re-assessment against the deep and honest self-assessment you established as your baseline. Identify any gaps still outstanding, and plan to address them. Revisit your skills needs, teams, and organization structure.

Step 2: Measure Customer Satisfaction

  • Conduct a customer satisfaction survey among those customers who have received a Sure Step Partner Adoption-based implementation.
  • Incorporate these results into your assessment results for a well-rounded health check.
  • Update customer messaging based on new learning related to customers’ valuation of Sure Step.

Step 3: Management Reinforcement Coaching

  • Ensure the continued effectiveness and adoption of Sure Step by coaching your managers to continually reinforce and manage to the process.
  • Consider using coaching offerings from Microsoft Partner Development Centers (PDCs) where (available FY10).

BEST PRACTICE: Mature consultants and managers will require coaching on an ongoing basis. Their natural tendency will be to fall back on what they already know.

  • Continue the chain of communication within your company by detailing the progress made to date, the results of everyone’s efforts, and the future goals for Sure Step Partner Adoption.
