Milestone 4: Develop

With new processes defined, the next step is to enable the processes in and between your existing systems. Complete custom development work, then continue the pilot started by the V-team sales reps in the previous step. Road test your new implementation processes in the updated systems before going live across your company.  

Marketing completes the milestone by assessing the reaction of customers to the new Sure Step engagement.

Average time to complete Milestone 4: 30-60 days.

Step 1: Custom Development

  • Complete Configuration of existing systems after vetting with Sales Team in the "Design" phase.
  • Identify and perform any custom development that is needed to facilitate user experience and performance.
  • Ensure all database development for customer data storage complies with your privacy plans; create a privacy plan if you do not have one.
  • Complete migration of pertinent data and documents, finishing the work begun with sales data and documents.

Step 2: Implementation Pilot

  • V-team performs a pilot of their new Sure Step-enabled systems and processes, using real projects uploaded into the system.
  • Projects should be recommended by the Sales team, preferably those from the Sales team’s pilot.

Step 3: Test Customer Acceptance

  • Marketing surveys the effectiveness of its customer communications regarding Sure Step, which Sales teams have been rolling out. Make adjustments as deemed necessary.
  • HR monitors effectiveness of training, the assessment exam, and the pilot program. Champion suggests changes to role definitions and organization, processes, systems, and learning plans as necessary.
  • Based on the results of your pilot program and customer acceptance measurement, make final modifications to your Sure Step processes, and get V-team sign-off.
