Milestone 5: Deploy

Congratulations! You are now ready to go live with Sure Step across your company. Make sure all employees are trained and can perform, and ensure that all customer-facing roles understand and can communicate the value of Sure Step.

Average time to complete Milestone 5: 30 days.

Step 1: Deploy Sure Step Training

  • Your CEO sends a company-wide communication signaling your readiness to go live with Sure Step, fulfilling the promise he or she made at the beginning of the process. Stress the importance of each individual's contribution.
  • BEST PRACTICE: Focus on necessary skills training, such as project management, for your people before deploying Sure Step Training. Focus on managing yourselves, and managing customers. This will lay an appropriate foundation for learning.
  • Deploy Sure Step Training to all relevant personnel across the company. Use Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCTs) where available.
STEP 1 ROLES: CEO, CHAMPION, HR, MCT

Step 2: Customer Message Training

  • Train all customer-facing roles to communicate the features and value of Sure Step to customers. Led by Marketing and Sales members of the V-team.
STEP 2 ROLES: CHAMPION, SALES, MARKETING, ALL CUSTOMER-FACING ROLES

Step 3: Take Proficiency Assessment

  • All roles who have taken training prove their learning by taking the Sure Step Proficiency Assessment.
  • Monitor the ongoing effectiveness of training at regular intervals; led by your company's HR manager.
STEP 3 ROLES: CHAMPION, V-team (SALES MANAGER, PROJECT MANAGER, APPLICATION CONSULTANT, DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT), HR, ALL ROLES

Step 4: Go Live

  • Begin selling and implementing projects with Sure Step.
