Milestone 2: Analyze

Gather your V-team and have an earnest examination of your current implementation process. Take an Adoption Assessment, and use the results to make your commitment to an adoption plan.

BEST PRACTICE: Be prepared to make a deep and honest assessment of yourself, including your processes, skills, and organizational structure. All will be affected.

Average time to complete Milestone 2: 30 days.

Step 1: Assess Your Current Processes

Your goal is to assess your current business status, and the maturity of your current implementation process. There are two nonexclusive options. Choose one or both to suit your needs:

  • Entire V-team takes Adoption Self-Assessment through this site.
  • Sign up for a Facilitated Assessment Workshop, a deep exploration of your implementation methodology operated in a team environment, managed by an expert Microsoft Sure Step Partner Adoption facilitator. This facilitated session begins with an assessment of your sales and implementation processes.

Step 2: Evaluate Need for Skills Development

  • From the results of your assessment, identify any specialized skills training required for individual V-team members to fulfill their responsibilities. For example, this could include sales methodology or project management training.
  • Develop and complete training plan, using a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) as a resource.

Step 3: Identify & Communicate Risks & Rewards

  • Champion leads V-team in identifying risks of Sure Step.
  • Champion leads V-team in reviewing required investments for adopting Sure Step.
  • Champion leads V-team in defining the expected rewards and return from adopting Sure Step.
  • Champion presents adoption plan and ROI analysis to CEO, who confirms the decision to proceed.
